Product information

45% Cinsault 35% Grenache 20% Syrah. Grapes are gently de-stemmed, cooled and pressed; 8% of the Syrah goes straight into wooden barrels for primary and malolactic fermentation. The Cinsault, Grenache and remaining Syrah are fermented in stainless steel tanks, blocked from malolactic fermentation. The two different lots are aged separately, and blended prior to bottling and released after three months.

The nose here is immediately captivating with its freshness, focus and interest. It suggests sea salt, thyme, freshly squeezed nectarines and a touch of well-executed, lifted citrus. The palate shows some good density and the fruit/acid balance is played out nicely. Medium-bodied and sleek and refreshing. Makes you come back for more. Routas on the money as always. Drink now. 93pts - James, May '19

Rather extrovert nose for a Provence pink! Like fresh fruit salad. Bone dry with piercing acidity and quite some meatiness on those chalky bones. The fruit steps quite far back on the palate, with suggestions of bresaola and paprika spice. Mouth-watering and appetising. 2019-2020 16/20 – Tamlyn Currin, Jancis, August ‘19
