It doesn't get much more classical than this, it's as English in its way as roast beef followed by spotted dick for pud; this Gruaud is drinking beautifully and will remind the consumer of why Bordeaux like this held such a special place in this country's cellars before the madness set in. Lovely fruit, quite layered and complex, rich with just enough acidity to balance. Good finish.
