Product information

A single-vineyard white blend of four varieties from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. The backbone is 70% Semillon; one of my favourites from this part of the world, with Sauvignon Blanc and Arneis adding citrus freshness, and the dry 2018 harvest has provided the perfect conditions for a fresh, racy glass of much-needed sunshine.

The fruit flavour fits the classic citrus profile of the main ingredients, with a little hoppiness and bitter-olive flavour to add modest complexity. It's a thirst-quenching, smooth style which, at 13% alcohol, perfectly fits the profile of what the Aussies call #smashable.
*Wine of the Week* - Richard Hemming MW, Jancis, 15/2/19

Wild & Wilder is the sort of project Australia does really well; a collaboration between MWs Giles Cooke and Fergal Tynan across sites in Langhorne Creek and the Barossa and Clare Valleys, allowing for a wide variety of grapes to match the regions. Their Tabula Rasa wines are something different; red and white blends bottled in 50cl crown-capped bottle with a blend that changes every year depending on the harvest - great, fun wines for a weeknight glass or summer outdoors, with a great informal feel. Wines are minimal intervention and vegan friendly. If this is the future of everyday drinking, count me in!
